ZW Ambassador competences:
Understanding what is zero waste, what is Zero Waste City and why it’s important
Understanding what are preferred waste management and treatment options (Zero Waste hierarchy)
Ability to work with waste data and understanding the importance of data
Understanding what are waste prevention and reduction methods and why are they important
Ability to apply zero waste principles to different practical contexts
Knowledge of different important zero waste stakeholders and how to engage them
Ability to lead and spread the zero waste philosophy
Ability to assess one’s own skill level in being a Zero Waste Ambassador
The competences are based and developed through the ZW Ambassador Curriculum.
